Kate Brown ND

kate brown gold coast naturopath

Igrew up in Harvey Bay before moving to the Gold Coast at age 4.  I spent my schooling years on the Coast where I developed a keen interest in sport and physical activity.  I trained gymnastics for 7 years and played team sports such as netball and touch football throughout high school.  After completing high school I worked for a number of years then decided to travel and broaden my horizons.

I spent a number for years working and travelling throughout New Zealand, the UK and Europe, an experience that taught me a lot about life and people.  Time spent travelling also allowed me to develop sense of what was important to me in life and following my return to Australia I began my studies in Natural Medicine.  I graduated from the Natural Therapies Academy in 2007 with Advanced Diplomas in Naturopathy and Western Herbal Medicine.  During the next 4 years I worked part-time as a clinical naturopath, completed a Bachelor of Health Science in Complementary Medicine and also gave birth to my daughter, by far the most amazing experience to date.  I completed my Bachelor in 2011 and have continued to practice part-time as well as being a mother and working in other fields related to health.

I’m a passionate individual committed to helping others reach their full health potential in life. I believe the essence of health is living a balanced life. My role as a naturopath is to educate and support individuals to manage their health and listen to their body.
